I am really enjoying making jewelry with this retro circles design!  The fun thing about this design is that I never know how it’s going to look until it’s finished.  Each pair is truly one of a kind!

All of my paper quilled jewelry is carefully made and hand varnished for a sturdy and water resistant finish.

Jewelry made from paper quilling is lightweight and gorgeous!  It is also easily made into custom earrings when you choose your own colors!

Chinese New Year Jewelry

February 3rd 2011 begins the new year in the Chinese calendar. This year it will be the year of the metal rabbit! As I enjoy making special jewelry for many cultural celebrations, I’ve made a few special pieces for Chinese New Year. Also, most of my designs can be made in red, a popular color choice for Chinese New Year!

Rabbit Pendant     1 3/8″ (3.5cm) long and 1″ (2.5cm) wide

comes with an adjustable cord.  A tan rabbit, with silver edge, is mounted on a dark brown background with a silver plated jump ring.

Chinese Lantern Earrings  1.7cm long and 1.1cm wide

Red/Black Teardrop Earrings 3.5cm long

Long Red Dangle Earrings  1 3/4″ (4cm) long

Multi Circle Earrings in red  5/8″ (1.5cm) in diameter

Nine Pointed Star Earrings in red just over 3/4″ (2cm) in diameter

Seahorse Pendant

After making a few pairs of seahorse earrings I thought why not making a seahorse pendant?!  So I did!  I made it larger than the earrings, but the same design. Click on the photo to go to the same pendant for sale in my etsy shop

As with all of my jewelry, this pendant is hand varnished to be sturdy and water resistant.  It is a pendant only, does not come with a necklace cord or chain.  Has a silver plated jump ring so you can put it on any chain or cord that you have.

Paper Quilled Flower Hairclips

The newest items I’ve added to my collection are hair clips!

I have two designs to start off with, a six sided flower and a dual tone five sided flower.

I use a snap hair clip that is 2″ (5cm) long. It has a pad on the end specially for gluing, so no need to worry about the glue coming off of these! The flowers have been sealed to be sturdy and water resistant.

The perfect accessory for any girl!

Butterfly Pendant

As you can tell from my banner and my etsy avatar, I like butterflies.  As pretty as those butterflies are, they are not the most sturdy for some quilling crafts.  They are okay for earrings if you are careful enough, but not sturdy enough for anything else.  In an effort to create a more sturdy butterfly to use for jewelry, I designed this pattern for a Blue Emperor butterfly.  I thought it was the perfect size for a beautiful pendant!
